In 2009 Rawlco Radio approached me to do a radio show Saturday mornings. After some careful thought, consideration and a lot of jitters, I said YES! February 2009, Dave Arnold and I aired the very first show. The Carrie Cardinal Show was born! I’d like to say I was a polished natural but I can’t. It took years of practice, coaching and help from the station! With no previous radio experience, just a love of mortgages, real estate, and my clients we chatted about everything mortgage and real estate-related! I always share my heart and money-saving tips! My late grandmother used to listen, and many times I wondered if she was the only one! She would call me after the show, give me an atta girl and we continued on. In the early days, this is what kept me going. I wanted to bring on air my authenticity, my personality, and my passion. Over the years we have done just that. Eleven years later, I still air the show and I have added some for you to have a listen. My greatest moments are the calls, messages, mortgages, and homes that have been impacted by the show. I could tell you story after story of homeownership, how I saved folks money, made dreams come true from sunrise to sunset! The Carrie Cardinal Show has grown and I’ve loved sharing mortgage advice to the listeners of Saskatchewan for over a decade!
